We stepped in as the Senior Business Analyst, leading discovery workshops with stakeholders across Planned Maintenance, Repairs, Finance, and Compliance. Through a meticulous AS-IS and TO-BE analysis, we identified pain points in legacy operations and proposed streamlined, future-ready processes. Our contributions included drafting business requirements documents, producing RACI matrices, and managing vendor alignment. The programme met key milestones under our guidance, and our structured documentation became instrumental for training, onboarding, and operational handover. This transformation improved service delivery for thousands of housing users.

Enterprise Service Modernization – Saint Elizabeth Health

Our team brought a new dimension to the Enterprise Service Management transformation at Saint Elizabeth Health by embedding security and privacy considerations into the early stages of business analysis. Tasked with modernizing healthcare infrastructure, we documented the entire landscape of IT managed services using BPMN, collaborated with stakeholders to understand vulnerabilities, and mapped a secure future state. Working in Jira, we broke down complex healthcare requirements into epics, user stories, and deliverables, aligning them with stringent privacy and security standards. Our analytical storytelling helped unify cybersecurity goals with operational needs, positioning the institution as a leader in secure healthcare delivery.

Military Justice Case Management – Department of National Defense

The Department of National Defence faced a pressing need to modernize its Military Justice Case Management System. Our team led the end-to-end transformation journey, starting from stakeholder engagement through to implementation using Microsoft Dynamics 365. We developed comprehensive business processes, introduced decision trees to distinguish projects from BAU activities, and ensured that regulatory, strategic, and operational goals were embedded in the system's architecture. Our ability to translate technical requirements into understandable terms helped bridge communication gaps across departments. Our leadership in Azure DevOps ensured that every user story was traceable and testable, culminating in a secure and integrated case management platform.

Wires Payment Platform – Prairie Payments Joint Venture

Service Rendered: Payment Modernization Strategy and BA Team Leadership

Serving over 24 Credit Unions in Western Canada, Prairie Payments embarked on modernizing its Wires Payment Processing Platform. Our team, as the analyst, navigated complex regulatory landscapes and led a team of business analysts to analyse the current state of payment systems. We worked closely with IBM and JPMC to migrate messaging standards from MT to MX (ISO 20022), ensuring interoperability and security. By mapping end-of-day activities like reconciliation and settlement, and removing ambiguity in documentation, we minimized risk and accelerated delivery. Our strategic oversight supported the daily operations of 62 Credit Unions and laid a foundation for real-time, future-proof payment infrastructure.

COVID-19 Test Reporting Infrastructure – UK Health Security Agency

At the height of the pandemic, the integrity of national health data became a top priority. Our team joined UKHSA to reinforce the NHS Test and Trace system. Collaborating with NHS Digital and epidemiologists, he designed SQL validation logic to eliminate data anomalies in daily lab streams. We facilitated Agile ceremonies, coordinated test pipelines, and reduced manual reporting interventions by 25%. Our streamlined data logic empowered public health leaders with faster, more accurate decision-making tools during a critical period.

Medical Registration Rewrite – Medical Council of Canada

Our team took the reins of a $10M flagship project aimed at modernizing Canada’s Application for Medical Registration (AMR) system. We gathered and documented over 78 functional and non-functional requirements and transformed complex processes into modern user journeys.
